Coop Insights is a self service platform for Coop Sverige AB's b2b clients where they can follow their sales in real time and get unique customer insights
Coop Sverige AB's outdated supplier portal suffered from low user adoption due to its difficult interface and lack of actionable insights. This resulted in missed sales opportunities for both Coop and their suppliers. The goal was to create Coop Insights - a modern platform that would help suppliers identify trends, track real-time sales data, and make informed decisions based on customer behavior.
Through multiple iterations and stakeholder feedback, wireframes helped identify which features should be included in the MVP and what could be developed later. The process explored responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and smartphone breakpoints, ensuring a consistent experience across devices.

Interviews were held together with one of the current admins to identify which features they are currently using on the previous portal and determine what is essential. The specific admin was updated weekly about what was going on in the project.
“I'm not particular interested in numbers and data. Most of my visits are mainly for changing passwords or update weekly information”
“I'm about to change position, so I will have to teach a new co-worker how to use the old system, which is very outdated.”
“I feel like there's a lot of unnecessary clicks on the current portal. Some things also requires old Microsoft explorer”
A series of interviews were then conducted on with participants (suppliers) to further identify pain points, frustrations, needs, and desires.
“Visiting the current portal doesn't give me much to be honest. Visiting the site should give me something.”
“There's a lot of things that I wish you could do, for example: being able to have several users for the (our) same supplier.”
"Tracking, if something stand out, noticing trends, create your own campaigns, there's a lot of things you can do. Not sure what I would use though or like to see."
After conducting user interviews, all the participants responses were synthesized to identity themes, opportunities, and features that Coop Insights could focus and improve upon.
